NHAI to Deploy Network Survey Vehicles for National Highways
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to deploy Network Survey Vehicles (NSVs) across 23 states, covering over 20,000 km of National Highways. This initiative aims to collect and analyze road inventory and pavement condition data, identifying road defects such as potholes and surface cracking. The data will be processed using advanced technology and uploaded to an AI-based portal for further analysis, ultimately enhancing road maintenance and safety.
