With over 6.5 lakh ESIC cardholders in the region, patients are facing long wait times for treatment, including in emergency situations. The NHRC has issued notices to the Chief Secretary of Haryana and the Chairman of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation, demanding a detailed report within two weeks. Reports indicate a lack of specialist doctors, particularly in the Cardiology department, raising concerns about potential human rights violations.
