NHRC Concludes ITEC Executive Capacity-Building Programme on Human Rights

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India successfully concluded its fourth ITEC Executive Capacity-Building Programme for National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) from the Global South in New Delhi. The six-day program, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, featured 43 senior officials from 12 countries. NHRC Chairperson Justice V. Ramasubramanian emphasized the importance of interactive programs in fostering hope for a better future and suggested forming an alliance among Global South Human Rights Institutions to address diverse socio-economic and cultural realities. Participants engaged in discussions on governance and human rights, and visited significant cultural sites in India.
