NHRC Investigates Building Collapse in Delhi
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India has taken suo motu cognizance of the death of three labourers in a building collapse in Daryaganj, Delhi, on August 20, 2025. The deceased, migrant workers from Bihar, were among around 15 labourers present at the site. The NHRC has issued notices to key officials, demanding a detailed report within two weeks, highlighting serious human rights concerns related to the incident.
