NHRC Investigates Fatal Hoarding Collapse in Ahmedabad

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India has taken notice of a tragic incident in Ahmedabad where two workers died and another was critically injured due to the collapse of an advertising hoarding. The NHRC has issued notices to the Chief Secretary of Gujarat and the Commissioner of Police, demanding a detailed report within two weeks. The incident occurred on September 27, 2025, during the installation of a hoarding on a seven-storey building.
