NHRC Investigates Police Brutality in Madhya Pradesh

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India has taken notice of the deaths of two men allegedly due to police brutality in Madhya Pradesh. A notice has been issued to the State DGP for a detailed report within two weeks. The incidents involve a 22-year-old B.Tech student who died after being assaulted by police and a 45-year-old man who allegedly died after being beaten and drowned by police personnel.
