NHRC Launches Online Internship Programme for Human Rights Awareness

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India has initiated a two-week Online Short Term Internship Programme (OSTI) for November 2025, selecting 80 students from over 900 applicants. The programme aims to enhance human rights awareness among university students through various sessions and practical insights. NHRC Secretary General, Shri Bharat Lal, emphasized the importance of dignity in human rights and urged interns to become ambassadors of justice and empathy. The curriculum includes topics like international law, mental health, and juvenile justice, along with virtual tours and competitions.
