NHRC Launches Summer Internship Programme 2025 for Students

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India inaugurated its four-week Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2025 in New Delhi, aimed at fostering human rights awareness among university students. Chairperson Justice V. Ramasubramanian emphasized the importance of justice and empathy, while Secretary General Bharat Lal highlighted the youth's critical role in advancing human rights. Out of 1,468 applicants, 80 students from diverse academic backgrounds were selected to participate in various interactive sessions and field visits to deepen their understanding of human rights issues.
