NHRC Probes Botched Cataract Surgeries in Uttar Pradesh Leading to Vision Loss

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India has initiated an investigation into a series of botched cataract surgeries conducted at a private hospital in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. At least nine patients reportedly had their infected eyes removed, while nine others lost vision in one eye.
