NHRC's Online Short Term Internship Programme for 2026 Successfully Concludes

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India concluded its Online Short Term Internship Programme for May 2026, with 98 university-level students completing the programme. These students were selected from a pool of 1,417 applicants nationwide. The valedictory session was chaired by NHRC Chairperson Justice V. Ramasubramanian, who emphasized the importance of students contributing meaningfully to society by going beyond academic success. NHRC Secretary General Shri Bharat Lal encouraged interns to reflect human rights values and emphasized the collective responsibility of protecting human rights.
