The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Patna has partnered with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) to empower rural women from the Jeevika self-help groups by providing specialized skill training. This initiative, announced in the presence of Union Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh, aims to enhance women's economic development and promote employment opportunities in Bihar's textile sector. The program will initially benefit 3.5 lakh women, equipping them with skills in garment manufacturing and quality control, thereby linking them to formal industry jobs.
