NIRL and MAHAPREIT Form Joint Venture for Renewable Energy in Maharashtra

NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) to develop renewable energy projects in Maharashtra. The partnership aims to create a Joint Venture Company (JVC) that will focus on developing up to 2000 MW of renewable energy, including solar and wind projects, with an initial phase of 500 MW. The agreement highlights the government's commitment to green energy and the potential for sustainable growth in the region.
