Niryat Cargo Express Initiates New Route From Gurugram to Mundra Port
The Indian Railways has commenced the Niryat Cargo Express, a new assured rail service running from the Ichhapuri Container Terminal in Gurugram to Mundra Port. This service, operating as a double-stack container train, aims to provide exporters with a faster, reliable, and cost-effective transportation solution, minimizing delays and logistics expenses. It marks the first such service from Ichhapuri, following 20 similar trips from Garhi, Gurugram. The service is designed to optimize high-value export cargo transit through minimal halts and uninterrupted movement, enhancing efficiency in freight transportation for northern sectors.
