NITI Aayog's Frontier Tech Hub has launched a comprehensive ten-year roadmap titled 'Technology Services – Reimagination Ahead,' aimed at transforming India's $265 billion technology services sector into a $750-$850 billion industry by 2035. The initiative focuses on AI-driven evolution, shifting from traditional labor-arbitrage services to an IP-led, platform-driven model, and supports the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. The roadmap outlines crucial growth areas, including Agentic AI, Digital Infrastructure, and Innovation-led Engineering, while advocating for enterprise AI adoption, increased investment in R&D, workforce reskilling, and enhanced regulatory frameworks.
