The report aims for India to achieve a USD 1 trillion chemical output by 2040, increasing its share in global value chains from 3.5% to 5-6%. It highlights challenges such as reliance on imports, infrastructure gaps, and low R&D investment, while proposing strategic interventions to enhance competitiveness and create 7 lakh jobs by 2030.
