November 2025 Sees Rise in India's Core Industries Index

The Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) in India recorded a 1.8% increase in November 2025 compared to the same month in the previous year, marking an improved performance in key sectors. Notable growth was observed in Cement, Steel, Fertilizer, and Coal, while Crude Oil, Natural Gas, and Electricity sectors saw a decline. The cumulative growth rate for the April to November 2025-26 period stands at 2.4%.
