NSO Launches Statathon for Data Innovation in India

The National Statistical Office (NSO) of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has launched 'Statathon – A Data Journey Towards Viksit Bharat', a Grand Challenge aimed at transforming official statistics through innovative solutions and emerging technologies. The initiative invites participants to address five problem statements related to the data lifecycle, focusing on AI and other technologies to enhance statistical data systems. Registrations are open for one month, with mentorship and financial support for selected teams, culminating in a Grand Finale later this year.
