OBC Certificate Issuance Guidelines
The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has outlined the process for issuing OBC certificates to individuals migrating from one State to another. According to the guidelines, a person must present a genuine certificate issued to their father by the authority of their father's origin State. If the individual's caste is not listed as OBC in the new State, they are still entitled to benefits from their original State and the Union Government, but not from the new State. This information was shared by Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar in a Lok Sabha session.
