Odisha Proposes Science City in Bhubaneswar

Odisha's Minister for Science & Technology, Sri Krushna Chandra Patra, met with Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh to seek central support for establishing a Science City in Bhubaneswar. The initiative aims to enhance scientific learning and innovation, offering 100 acres of land for the project. The proposed Science City will feature modern exhibits and research facilities, aligning with India's goal to promote scientific temper. Other proposals include an Astronomy Observatory and a Coastal Observatory, emphasizing Odisha's potential in science and technology.
