The Ministry of Science and Technology is funding over 285 ongoing research and development projects in Gujarat through its departments, with a total allocation of more than Rs. 603 crore over the last five years. These projects span various scientific fields including Physical, Chemical, Biological, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Sciences, primarily benefiting institutions in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, and Surat.
