Over 5.6 Lakh Villages Declared ODF Plus in Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen)

The initiative, part of the program's Phase-II aimed at ensuring sustained sanitation, included three categories: Aspiring, Rising, and Model, signifying stages of waste management and cleanliness. Villages self-declare as ODF Plus and undergo verification to maintain the status.
