Pan-India CPR Awareness Week 2025
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare organized a pan-India CPR Awareness Week from October 13-17, 2025, aimed at enhancing public understanding and practical capacity in Compression-only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The initiative engaged over 7.47 lakh citizens through various activities, including live demonstrations, training sessions, and digital engagement, with a focus on promoting bystander intervention during medical emergencies. A total of 6.06 lakh participants received CPR training, and significant youth involvement was noted through quizzes and volunteer initiatives.
