Passport Verification Records Now Accessible via DigiLocker

In a significant boost to citizen services, the Ministry of Electronics & IT, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, has introduced the integration of Passport Verification Records (PVR) into the DigiLocker platform. This initiative, under the Digital India programme, allows citizens to access, store, and share digitally verified passport records conveniently. The move supports paperless governance, enhances security and authenticity of records, and provides ease of access through both web and mobile platforms, thus reducing reliance on physical documents and streamlining verification processes.
