The Public Financial Management System (PFMS) of India has made significant improvements to enhance transparency and efficiency in fund management. As the mandated platform for payment and reconciliation of government transactions, PFMS has now integrated advanced protocols in its Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) module. This includes systems like SNA SPARSH for just-in-time fund release, reducing delays and enhancing transparency. Furthermore, the system has introduced a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for better user interaction and a comprehensive Grievance Redressal System to address user issues swiftly.
