PFRDA Forms Expert Committee for NPS Payouts Framework

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has established a high-powered committee, chaired by Dr. M. S. Sahoo, to develop regulations for assured payouts under the National Pension System (NPS). This initiative is aimed at boosting retirement income security as part of the broader vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The committee comprises 15 experts from various fields and aims to address regulatory framework development, seamless transition processes, and market-based guarantees for subscribers.
