Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, visited Doha, Qatar to co-chair the India–Qatar Joint Commission on Economic and Commercial Cooperation. The meeting aimed to enhance bilateral trade, set a goal to double trade by 2030, and expedite negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. Goyal also launched Unified Payments Interface services in Qatar and engaged with business leaders to discuss collaboration in various sectors, reaffirming a commitment to a resilient economic partnership.
