PM-DevINE Scheme for Northeast India Reviewed for Progress

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region conducted a meeting to review the PM-DevINE scheme, chaired by Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia on December 3, 2025. Highlighting the critical nature of PM-DevINE, Scindia detailed the progress as part of an outlay totaling Rs. 6600 crore from 2022 to 2026. Forty-four projects, including strategic tourist circuit initiatives in Meghalaya and Tripura, have been sanctioned with 41 currently under construction. Enhanced monitoring and timely implementation remain priorities for the scheme, aiming to stimulate infrastructure and socio-economic growth in Northeast India.
