PM E-DRIVE Scheme's E-3W Targets Achieved Ahead of Schedule

The Ministry of Heavy Industries has successfully met its target for electric three-wheelers (e-3W) under the PM E-DRIVE scheme, achieving 2.88 lakh units ahead of schedule. Launched in September 2024, the scheme closed e-3W incentives by December 26, 2025. This milestone signifies substantial progress in India’s e-mobility goals, contributing to a 32% penetration rate in the segment.
