PM GatiShakti National Master Plan Reviews ₹16.10 Lakh Crore Infrastructure Projects

The PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, initiated in October 2021 for comprehensive infrastructure development in India, has evaluated 352 projects worth ₹16.10 lakh crore. Of these, 201 projects have been sanctioned, and 167 are currently under implementation. To support the states in their infrastructure development efforts, the Ministry of Finance has disbursed ₹5,000 crore as a 50-year interest-free loan under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment for the fiscal year 2022-23. The infrastructure projects are based on integrated planning to ensure synchronization and last-mile connectivity. Implementation is monitored by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, with comprehensive status reports available on the PAIMANA portal.
