The Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyaan (PM JANMAN) scheme, launched by the Prime Minister for the socio-economic development of 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), is gaining ground in Kerala. Since its inception, the scheme has facilitated several initiatives, including the construction of safe housing, provision of clean drinking water, improved education and healthcare facilities, road and telecom connectivity, electrification, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Data indicates substantial progress, with the Ministry of Rural Development, Health and Family Welfare, and other departments contributing significantly through various interventions. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs continues to monitor the scheme's implementation closely, ensuring compliance and effective execution through regular reviews and a digital dashboard via the PM GatiShakti portal.
