PMFME Scheme: Boosting Micro Food Processing in India

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries has launched the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme, providing financial, technical, and business support for enhancing micro food processing units in India. The scheme offers up to 35% credit-linked subsidy, infrastructure support, and capacity building to two lakh enterprises, aiming to formalize units and support economic growth across the country with a budget of Rs. 10,000 crore from 2020-21 to 2025-26.
