PMKK Initiative Enhances Skill Development Across India

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKKs) are model training centers established to deliver skill training across India, particularly focusing on marginalized communities. Operated under a Public Private Partnership model, these centers serve women, persons with disabilities, and various disadvantaged groups. Currently, there are 597 PMKKs operational across India, offering skilling opportunities in industry-relevant courses, with an emphasis on empowering trained individuals to choose their career paths since the introduction of PMKVY 4.0.
