President Droupadi Murmu's Historic Sortie in Rafale Aircraft
On October 29, 2025, President Droupadi Murmu became the first Indian President to take a sortie in two different fighter aircraft, flying a Rafale at Air Force Station Ambala. The flight lasted approximately 30 minutes, covering 200 kilometers, and was piloted by Group Captain Amit Gehani.
