Prime Minister Modi Visits Historic Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Udupi, Karnataka, and shared insights from his visit to the historic Sri Krishna Matha, established over 800 years ago by Sri Madhvacharya. During his time there, Modi participated in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana, a devotional event attended by a large diverse audience, including students and monks. He also inaugurated the Suvarna Teertha Mantapa and dedicated a golden cover for the sacred Kanakana Kindi window. Throughout the visit, Modi emphasized themes of devotion, social upliftment, and compassion, drawing inspiration from Bhagwan Shri Krishna's teachings and the Gita to support national initiatives like Ayushman Bharat and PM Awas Yojana.
