Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Port of Spain for a State Visit to Trinidad and Tobago from July 3-4, 2025. This marks the first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to T&T since 1999. He was warmly welcomed at the airport by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and other dignitaries, receiving a ceremonial Guard of Honour and cultural performances. The visit also included a rousing reception from the Indian diaspora in T&T.
