Progress in India's PLI Scheme for ACC Battery Manufacturing

The Ministry of Heavy Industries is overseeing the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme titled 'National Programme on Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage,' which aims to enhance domestic manufacturing capacity of ACCs to 50 GWh. As of now, 40 GWh have been allocated to four beneficiary companies with various stages of completion towards manufacturing readiness.
