The National Mission on Natural Farming has seen significant advancements in India, with over 1.1 million farmers registered and nearly a million hectares under natural farming certification as of February 2026. The Participatory Guarantee System (PGS)-INDIA NATURAL, implemented since the 2025-2026 period, allows for the certification of naturally farmed products at a cost of ₹2100 per hectare over two years. Additionally, funds have been systematically allocated to various states, with a notable increase from ₹36,564 lakh in 2024-2025 to ₹61,601 lakh in 2025-2026, promoting sustainable agricultural practices nationwide.
