Progress of PMAY-G Housing Scheme

The Ministry of Rural Development is implementing the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) to provide financial assistance for the construction of pucca houses in rural areas. As of July 24, 2025, a cumulative target of 4.12 crore houses has been allocated, with 3.84 crore beneficiaries sanctioned and 2.81 crore houses completed. The scheme aims to assist 4.95 crore rural households by March 2029, with an additional 2 crore houses planned for the period 2024-2029.
