Progress of Self-Help Groups under DAY-NRLM

The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) aims to alleviate poverty by organizing rural households into Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Village Organisations (VOs). Since 2022, 15.61 lakh SHGs and 0.94 lakh VOs have been formed. The program also trains women as Business Correspondent Agents to provide financial services in remote areas. By June 2025, 1.48 crore women have achieved the status of 'Lakhpati Didi', earning over Rs. 1 lakh annually.
