Progress Report on India's Integrated Processing Development Scheme

The Ministry of Textiles has released a progress report on the Integrated Processing Development Scheme aimed at enhancing eco-friendly processing standards within India's textile industry. The scheme supports the creation and upgradation of Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETP) and new textile processing parks. As of the latest data, six projects are at various stages of completion, implementing advanced technologies such as Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and Multi Effect Evaporator (MEE) to improve water treatment efficiency. The update was provided by Minister Giriraj Singh during a session in the Rajya Sabha.
