Progress Under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission
The Ministry of Rural Development reported significant progress under the Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DDU-GKY) with a total of 18.45 lakh candidates trained and 12.35 lakh placed by June 2026. The initiative focuses on skill training for rural youth, aligning with labor market needs and ensuring industry relevance through placement-linked programs. Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) are tasked with ensuring a minimum placement of 70% and are supported with budgetary provisions to enhance local employment opportunities.
