Progress Update on PM-JANMAN Scheme Announced by Ministry of Tribal Affairs

Union Tribal Affairs Minister Shri Jual Oram updated the Rajya Sabha on the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN). As of December 2025, a total of 473,939 housing units have been approved under the scheme, with approximately 250,000 units completed. Various related infrastructure projects, including roads, mobile medical units, and electrification, were reviewed. To ensure effective monitoring, a digital dashboard on the PM GatiShakti portal and a project monitoring unit have been established.
