Progress Update on Third Launch Pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre

The Department of Space announced that the geo-technical investigation and topography survey for the Third Launch Pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre is complete. With financial approval received in March 2025, civil works are currently underway. The project, targeting completion by March 2029, includes major upcoming milestones, and involves private industries and MSMEs in its implementation.
