Projects Approved Under Swadesh Darshan Scheme and CBDD

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, announced in Rajya Sabha that 53 projects worth Rs. 2208.31 Crore have been sanctioned under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme and 38 projects worth Rs. 697.94 Crore under the Challenge Based Destination Development (CBDD) initiative till date. These schemes aim to enhance tourism infrastructure across India. Funding is provided to State Governments and Union Territory Administrations for developing tourism experiences at identified destinations.
