Promotion of Agriculture through AI Technology

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has implemented various AI and IoT initiatives to enhance crop productivity and farmer livelihoods. Key initiatives include the 'Kisan e-Mitra' chatbot for farmer queries, the National Pest Surveillance System for pest detection, and financial assistance for drone usage in agriculture. The 'Namo Drone Didi' scheme aims to empower Women Self Help Groups by providing drones with significant subsidies. A total of 2,622 drones have been distributed across various states to support these initiatives.
