Promotion of Coastal and Marine Adventure Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism is enhancing adventure tourism in India by collaborating with State Governments and Union Territories. Through schemes like 'Swadesh Darshan' and 'PRASHAD', financial assistance is provided for tourism infrastructure development. The Ministry has also established Model Adventure Safety Guidelines in partnership with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India to ensure safety in adventure tourism. All states are urged to monitor adventure activities and enforce safety regulations.
