Promotion of Tourism Under MDA Scheme

The Ministry of Tourism is providing financial assistance to approved tourism service providers (TSPs) for promoting and marketing Indian tourism in overseas markets under the Marketing Development Assistance (MDA) Scheme. The scheme is currently under review to meet industry needs. The Ministry has participated in various international travel trade events to enhance the visibility of 'Incredible India'. However, no financial assistance has been given to state governments or UT administrations under this scheme in the last three years. Foreign tourist visit data for various states and UTs from 2022 to 2024 is also provided.
