Rabi Crop Coverage Increases by 6.87 Lakh Hectares in 2025

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare has reported a robust increase in Rabi crop area coverage as of December 26, 2025, reaching 614.30 lakh hectares. This marks an increase of 6.87 lakh hectares over the previous year, indicating steady progress. Notably, there was a significant rise in the area covered by pulses, particularly gram which saw an increase of 4.66 lakh hectares.
