Railways Announces Major Recruitment Drive with 9,000 Jobs in Q1

The Ministry of Railways has announced a significant recruitment initiative, offering 9,000 jobs in the first quarter of FY 2025-26 and planning to fill 50,000 positions by FY 2026-27. Since 2024, a total of 1.08 lakh vacancies have been announced, with over 1.86 crore candidates participating in Computer Based Tests (CBTs). To ensure fair examinations, Aadhaar authentication and jammers will be used to prevent cheating.
