Railways Enhance Passenger Services During Festive Season

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw assessed the arrangements at New Delhi Railway Station, highlighting the efforts of 12 lakh railway employees who have facilitated over 1 crore passengers through 4,211 special trains in the last 20 days. With plans to operate 7,800 more trains, the Indian Railways has established a dedicated War Room for real-time monitoring and improved passenger facilities, including additional ticket counters and clean amenities. Passengers have praised the enhanced arrangements, reporting comfortable journeys even in unreserved coaches.
